Overview
About Me
I am a pricing strategist by day and a writer by night.
When I am not glued to the screen analysing data trends, I listen to philosophy podcasts and read up on gender and indigenous politics. On weekends I translate stories collected from an oral story platform in indigenous languages to encourage indigenous kids to stay at school.
However, I enjoy traveling the most. The thrill of the unknown is too addictive to walk away from.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The idea of couchsurfing is quite dreadful to me. Will I be killed? Will I be kidnapped? Will I be mugged?
So here I am to prove myself wrong.
And also to be able to see the world through your lens - To stay with locals - the best way to understand country and town from inside
Interests
I started working in a newsroom when I was a business undergrad. I remember coming home and crying to sleep after long days of publishing news on violence. I was afraid I was growing desensitized to it.
While I work as a pricing manager at present, I have also shifted my writing career to features and opinions.
I have taught debating to high school students. However, I derive the worth of my time from the ability to train kids to think and question everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On December 14, 2018 I found myself on a minivan chasing the aurora at 2 in the morning in Norway. Having a flight a 8 am, I was the least bothered about my sleep when I found my feet wet in snow and eyes at the magical northern lights in the vastness.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Compassionate listening.
So much to learn from the people we meet if we could rightfully pay heed to them.
Also I can teach Yoga, share exciting stories about how I escaped a forced marriage, provide training on the best undercut designs and bring to you stories from the other end of the world.
Bonus: Lessons on singing breathless
