Overview
About Me
I love life. I love the nature, the creation and to be. There are so many things I wish to do, and I will certanly do a lot of it before my time on this earth has passed by.
My name is My Gren. Actually I was named after the little angry girl "little My" in the Moomin troll sage by Tove Jansson. At the age of two I had learnt by heart the text in the picturebook "Hur gick det sen?" (maybe, "what happend then?")about the moomin trolls, where little My has run away and everyone worries...
Mostly i have danced through my life, and now I am studying at a Swedish "University" - the school of dance and cirkus. It is a lovely place where all my ideas about life, dance and actually everything is turned upside down...
I am always up for a good talk about life!
Well, creativity. I love to create. Imagination, talking, meeting new people and new cultures. Sometimes I think I should have been born in India, somtimes in Mongolia, sometimes in the north of Sweden and somtimes in the middleage. But I guess that my time is ment to be now and that is good! (even though my Indian friends told me that I acted like an indian and that I might have lived there in my last life... who knows?)
As a summery:
I live my life because I love to. I want to live my life fulhearted.
Let's talk - I'd love to hear about you and your thoughts - I always just hear mine...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people and share life when travelling. For me travelling is mostly about the meetings. Even though my intention often is to go somewhere to take dance classes I find it boring to go to a single room at a hotel or so after class. I want to hang out and share life !
Interests
I am a dance teacher and hence have my biggest interest as a work. This spring I graduate from my bachelor in dance pedagogy and will use the summer to travel USA in the search of the roots of jazz. Exciting times.
Other stuff that I occationally do is sewing (love to make my own clothes), reading, singing, playing board games or walking in the nature. I never say no to a cup of tea and I love libraries!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh I do love books so much. I just read Shantaram and followup. Perfectly wonderful. It took me to Bombay and the lifes of the people. I love the beautiful partraits of the people and the city.
Right now I am into jazzmusic. Combined with swedish folk music and world music. It gives me chills.
Bit let me now announce that the best movies ever are the ones made by my sister when she was a kiddo, with a hand camera, cut whilst filming. Nothing can ever trumph that!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Whoop - hard question! But one thing that I am still so happy that I did is when I started the collective house in Stockholm where I still live. People move in... people move out... and it always adds to the history of the house. I am the only one from the original inhabitants of the house left and I can see traces from the ones who has moved somewhere else everyday. I love that!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to play music with you, dance with you - just create with you. I can share my love for dance and teach you about the jazz dance history. We could have a stretching session to loosen up some tight muscles. But I also love to cook and would gladly cook you a good meal!
I am always up for learning life-hacks, get presented to nice places and to learn more about the person who is in front of me. Mostly I love to dig into the life of someone else - not doing all the fancy stuff.
What I Can Share with Hosts
