I'd love to try deep-fried insects and write a book about it from a Nutritionist's point of view

ABOUT ME

Some people say I'm a shy, quiet person and that might be true, others think I have an insatiable thirst for adventure. I'm very open to explore the world and visit new places and try new dishes and flavors (Nutritionist remember!). Meeting people and learning about their culture is one of the things I like.
I'm not into drinking, drugs or out-of-control partying.

It's too bad to see that this world is falling apart because of greed and self-centeredness. I am here to give back and let everyone know that we ALL can make a difference!
Smile and the world will smile back :)

PHILOSOPHY

Once a friend told me: 'Stop And Smell The Roses'.

The world is moving so fast at times; everyone around us is rushing from one appointment to the next and I'm worried about getting run over by them.

how do I participate? mmhh.. not sure if I understand the question... by going to CS meetings?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

it's a nice way to meet people who are as open-minded as I am. I don't like ending up at tourist traps!

Update: Been couchsurfing in North America and I can honestly say that, except for one incident, it has been a great experience and I hope to stay friends my awesome hosts! - Jan. 2011

兴趣

I'm currently learning 'plattdüütsch' (a North German dialect)

I love hanging with friends but also meeting new people and showing them around (hit me if you need a tour guide for Ulm or Kiel!)
I also love the outdoors! I get antsy when I have to stay inside all day.
