I live in the Washington, DC area and it's a love/hate relationship. I love the history and events here, but sometimes miss the laid back lifestyle back home in Oregon.

PHILOSOPHY

The Golden Rule is always a good standard to live by. Everyone has at least one thing in common so start there and build a relationship from that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed the Midwest and around the Great Lakes. I've had some great experiences and have met so many great people along the way. I look forward to trying my hand at some international couchsurfing someday.

I'll watch pretty much anything as long as it's tasteful. As for music, not too much into country or rap, but I'll find myself listening to them both on occasion. I'm starting to get more into the world of books and hope to be able to have some decent conversations with others about them.

I lived in the Dominican Republic for a few years doing humanitarian work. Seen some interesting things, but still waiting to be amazed.
