ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm Nastia, art historian and artist. I think I could define myself as intellectual, calm and easy-going person (but a little bit shy). I like to take care about people and help them to explore the area or teach them the things I know. My English is in the style of Google-translator (sorry for this in advance), but it doesn't stop me to joke, tell stories, share knowledge and discuss philosophical/ art stuff.
For past four years I have worked as a car salesman (to be precise -- saleswoman), psychologist (according to my first education), designer, stage decorator, guide, lecturer of contemporary art history, MOOC-courator, I worked in IT-startup (design an onboarding system) and now I make movies.
Between these strange works I travel, and like many here, I can not live without it.
I'm interested in arts, mostly visual. At different points in my life I did photography, painting and videoart.
I'm also keen on reading and western philosophy. And I love to rethink the reality artistically.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm crazy for cinema. My favorite directors are Jean-Luc Godard, Bertrand Blier, Gaspar Noé, Paolo Sorrentino, Aki Kaurismäki, David Lynch, Peter Greenaway, Ulrich Seidl, Michael Haneke, Fassbinder, Werner Herzog, Lars Von Trier, Andrey Zvyaginzev.
But my favorite movie from childhood is Stanley Kubrick's Space Odyssey
Music: electronic music, psychedelic rock, nostalgic hits from the 90s
Books: Nabokov, Dovlatov, Thomas Mann, Alberto Moravia, Salinger, Simone De Beauvoir, Umberto Eco, books on the history and theory of art and philosophy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I replanted a moss in Iceland
Found a real meteorite in the forest
Built a fence in an old French monastery
A year ago I made a tattoo on my chest (St. Mark's Lion)
In 2018, I made a documentary film in Dagestan (Northern Caucasus)
