About Me
CURRENT MISSION
make decisions!
ABOUT ME
I am an American living in London with 2 flatmates.
Some things:
- I think old-style storytelling and street art are highly under-appreciated art forms
- I'm vegetarian, but I try not to make icky faces around meat
- I am a huge supporter of immigrant rights
- Debating public policy is one of my favorite things to do
- My favorite drinks are wines, whiskies, and soy lattes
- I used to be cooler before I worked all the time
PHILOSOPHY
debate = progress

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: the mountain goats, the dismemberment plan, ted leo, dragonforce, andrew bird, the dodos, (old) against me!, bon iver, the dears, m. ward, the boss, the faint, latino cheese...
Books: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Time Traveler's Wife, Everything is Illuminated, The Rum Diary, Novecento: un monologo, Off the Map, and bizarre nonfiction.
Movies: Honestly? Everything. Even crappy ones. But under pressure I would say things like Blow, Fear and Loathing, A Scanner Darkly, the Third Man, Jurassic Park, and sappy chick flicks that I don't actually buy into.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about psychology or single cask whisky production. I like to explain the rules of Italian pronunciation. I can also show you how to make the best cheese enchiladas this side of the Atlantic.
Teach me your language, tell me your tales. Share recipes.
