ABOUT ME

Live in Brooklyn, work as a software engineer. Was a yoga teacher in a former life. From California, lived in Buenos Aires for 1.5 years.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is about the journey, not the destination. It's about enjoying the ride - the ups and the downs. It's about finding an underlying contentment in your life, in spite of the mishaps that will inevitably enter all of our lives. It's about knowing that every moment is temporary - the good and the bad moments - so that in the good moments, we practice gratitude and the bad, we show fortitude. It is only in moments of discomfort and vulnerability that we grow.

I think that life is one giant adventure where we discover, grow, learn, create, connect. And that growth, discovery, connection can be found through so many different ways - of which, for me, is travel, as well as yoga.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed in Brazil, in Miami, in Istanbul and in Jakarta. I've hosted once when I lived in Buenos Aires. I've attended a couple meetups. And I've met quite a few CSers along the way in my adventures.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've seen and done many things that I feel completely blessed to have experienced. I've encountered people who have changed my life and seen places that have blown my mind.

It's simply too hard to choose one. Some beautiful experiences I have had include Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro, the Incan ruins of Peru, Iguazu falls, Argentine Patagonia (glaciers), among a few others.

I love doing language exchange, practicing my own language skills as well as helping others with theirs.

I also teach yoga :)

I love hearing other people's inspiring stories that defy conventional societal expectations of what we are supposed to in life.
