ABOUT ME

I'm a super easy-going person who loves to travel more than anything. I'm the mother of a 18-year old boy who also loves to travel (my fault). I love to laugh and meet new people. I enjoy being free and able to experience all types of adventures. I want to live life to its fullest so that I can have really awesome stories to tell my grand-children some day.

I recently rented out my home (that I love) so that I could travel for at least a year - maybe two if being "homeless" isn't too tough on my spirit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had never heard of couch surfing until my sister told me about it when I was trying to plan a little (cheap) get away. So far, I've really enjoyed hosting and have met some really fun and interesting people. Now, I'm looking forward to surfing.

Interests

Travelling is my #1 - my true love. I'm a Knitter (capital K). I knit everywhere, all the time. I also spin my own wool. I love taking pictures of all the places I've been... or of nothing much as long as it's interesting (to me). I love meeting new people and learning about them, their lives, hearing their stories. I also recently took up yoga and quickly fell in love with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't discriminate in these areas. I'll watch, read or listen to anything if someone tells me it's good. I'm open that way. I really dislike country music though.

I'm not really sure what I have that I can teach... except knitting. ;) I feel like I've lived a life already and maybe have some wisdom to pass along.
