I started travelling many years ago after going on a one week holiday and not coming back for four years.
That level of adventure and incompetence pretty much sums me up.
Nowadays I go away often, but in short trips. ~ 70 countries so far.
I love travelling, normally research a country carefully before I arrive, then turn up and wander around saying "hello, I'm Myles" and hoping all goes OK.
I know too many bad jokes for my own good...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people who like travelling.
Sometimes wandering aimlessly around a country by yourself for ages can get a bit tedious.
Would like to meet up with people who want to see stuff, learn stuff, and go for a beer.
More interested in meeting people than being hosted
