Hi, I'm an Irish guy looking to explore and see different parts of the world. I'm new to couch surfing but it seems like a really nice way to get to know the local culture and properly see past the tourist goggles. I really travel for 3 main things; music, food, and nature. I'm a saxophone player as a hobbyist and a reasonable cook. I'm into just about every adventure sport from hiking, climbing, mountaineering, sailing, surfing, trail running, and generally getting wet and cold in nature. In my professional life, I'm a mix between an engineer and a physicist and am starting a PhD in nuclear fusion in January.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook. After a drink or two, I will happily sing some Irish folk songs in a bad singing voice and if needs be I can probably help your kid with their maths homework.
