About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Now: To experience as much history, cuisine, and nature as I can as I travel across Asia.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel, which probably does not come as a surprise on CouchSurfing, and am on a mission to go to every continent. South America and Antarctica still left to go! I think that food is often the best way to experience a culture (so is drink) so I always do my best to try a lot of both.

Music, Movies, and Books
Gladiator, Boogie Nights, Once, North by Northwest, and the Lord of the Rings are some of my favorite movies.
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce and East of Eden by John Steinbeck are my favorite books.
I'll listen to anything, but Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin, Bon Iver, Sam Cooke, and TV on the Radio are probably my top 5.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Slieve League in Ireland was spectacular.
Hearing Prince play Purple Rain live was amazing.
Tasting the calzone at Dar Poeta in Rome was revelatory.
Smelling a brew kettle when fresh hops are added is my favorite.
Touching my dog's ears is always perfect.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a Certified Cicerone, which is like a sommelier of beer, so I can teach fellow CouchSurfers about the greatest drink in the world! (I also love wine though, so don't worry)
I always love to learn about the history and culture of wherever I am--as well as off-the-beaten path hikes, beaches, parts of the city, etc.
