About Me
Hello ;) I am a brazilian student and I have been living in Hungary since Sep/21 .
I was born in the northern/amazonic region in Brazil. When I was 17 I left my hometown to study International Relations in the middle western region.
I lived there (in Goiás) for 5 years and experienced wonderful and extremely important moments! It was the place where I started to wonder who I am. I will always bring a piece of the Cerrado with myself.
When I was almost finishing my bachelor I was presented to a scholarship to study arts in Hungary. It took me courage to apply, but... here I am! And since I am here, I would like to enjoy the possibility to have easy access to so many places and get to know this continent.
My favorite types of places are the natural ones: beaches, waterfalls, mountains, lakes, woods, caves. But I am also interested in good museums and getting to know different cultural traits.
I am currently living in the dormitory of my university and here I am having the chance to meet and live with amazing people from everywhere. I want to start to host people here, but firstly I gotta see how it could work, once there is no spare bed and other people would have to agree too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think I am quite eclectic about music, but lately I've been very much into latin songs specially because I've been learning Spanish. I am also eternally deeply in love with MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and I could present you amazing singers. I love to get to know local music, the ones that are not sold by cultural industry. However, I can have fun with different types of music.
There's one particular book I am passionate about "Women who run with the wolves". This is a life-long reading.
About movies, I am mostly a fond of independent and art movies. One of my favorites is Bacurau.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I do not think "awesome" is the best word, but I felt brave when I left my parent's home by 17 years old to live alone and study far away. And I felt even braver when I left Brazil by 23 to come study in a country thousands of kilometers away whose language I do not speak.
Not awesome, but fun places I've been to:
* Equatorial Line in Macapá/Brazil, that is I was in both hemispheres at the same time.
* At the intersection spot among Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay at Itaipu Hydroelectric
* Crossed the Friendship Bridge between Brazil and Paraguay on foot with my friends
