ABOUT ME

I am an amateur photographer, runner, and writer. I admire nature and lust after the opportunity to cast everything aside to venture into the mountains, find my version of Walden's pond. Ideally this pond/mountain will have a fantastic sound system, because I can't bear to be too far from the music or pass a day without dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn to commit. Whether it's to a five-year plan or dinner in thirty minutes, I find that we become productive humans when we make a decision and stick to it rather than dance the limbo of "maybes."

I enjoy connecting with people during my travels and those on the road when I'm hosting. So much of travel for me is not about the locations but about the people that I get to know and learn from.

I love dancing despite my lack of affinity with rhythm and beats. Specifically, I love the blues and anything that is an unexpected convergence of genres.

I braved the congested streets of Hangzhou, China during Golden Week, weaving in and out of cars, pedestrians, and peddlers, after learning how to ride a bike just the day before.

I spent a month hibernating in a cave of the Himalayas.
