I'm a researcher studying adaptation to changing environment so yes we can debate all that. I have just returned to New Zealand after 3 years in California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Previous experiences below, now I just meet the cool people of CS for hangouts.
Couchsurfing has been amazing to me..more than the couch it is the people that have such a great impact on your travels and even your life..i cannot even imagine travelling without couchsurfing now.
Hopefully I will get out of my family home soon and be able to host people as well and do my bit for this project..till then i am happy to show people around auckland :)
Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving under nurse sharks in Australia
Night diving to see sleepy fish and bioluminescence at the bottom of the ocean: Colombia. Also manta rays as Big as a tent: Hawaii.
Watched molten volcanic flow crash into the sea
*licked a glacier*
*2am skinny dip with bioluminiscent dinoflagellates*
*dropped out of a plane to see the sun rise*
*walked across Mt. Doom and Middle Earth (LOTR), for real in NZ*
*been in two countries at once* and 3 US states at once.
*gotten lost 5 minutes to a campsite and pitched next to a potentially flooding stream*
*scared a kiwi in its native habitat*
*looked for camouflaged geckos at night with a bottle of wine*
*listened for weta mating calls in cold and dark*
*eaten roadside snails for dinner in Sitia, Crete*
*kissed a chef in firenze*
*jumped off the same bridge twice
*actually lost in Rome*
*found blue magic mushrooms*
*kayaked from island to island with jellyfish*

I am good to go to the national parks with..cos i know stuff!!
Also I am a certified Outdoor First Aider (NZ only) in case you get hurt.
