ABOUT ME

So,
My name is My. I live in Copenhagen, but I’m originally from a small town in Sweden called Piteå. I’ve studied contemporary dance at The Danish National School of Contemporary Dance for two years now and have at least two more to go.- yey!

Most of the time I spend in school, or working with my own projects. Right now I’m very interested in creating my own works and collaborating with other artists. I really enjoy other kinds of arts and try to investigate as much as my brain and body can handle.

Next trip I will be doing is to New York and San Francisco. I will be in NY from the 17th of October to the 5th of November. I need a place to stay in NY from the 24th of Oct to the 5th of Nov. In Sf I have relatives that I can crash at, but I would love to meet some new people in the area- so give me a buzz. The purpose for the travel is to take class at the Movement research center and New Dance Amsterdam in NY. In Sf I don’t know were I’m going yet..

When I don’t “dance” or run around in the studio I like to read good books and watch series that I illegally download from the net (bad bad girl). I like to cook- this is true! There’s nothing better to eat something tasty that I’ve actually made myself- or in close partnership with someone ells. I have cameras that I like to use. I’m not that brilliant yet, but I’m working towards understanding how to combine light and composition. Right now I can only focus at one thing at a time. I very much like to travel, it’s very inspiering to meet new people and get some culture clashes!
