ABOUT ME

My name is Monica
Age: 28
Talents: Fire eating, Fire breathing, Dance, Hula Hooping, Acroyoga, crocheting, juggling, writing, being charming. I have so many more.

I want to learn to cook. I'm really interested in Nutrition & Agriculture.

A Brief Life Bio:
After high school I took a semester at the University of Arizona. Then two semesters at the Coconino County Community College. Meanwhile, getting involved in the circus and spending two years working at The Home Depot. Then I quit HD, donated all my shit (except my books and some clothes) and started hitch hiking around this country.

Hitch Hiking 1.0 (Summer '11)
Flagstaff, AZ - Los Angeles - Las Vegas - Salt Lake City - Denver/Colorado Springs - Kansas City, MO - (4 days on the back of a motorcycle) Badlands National Park - Mount Rushmore - Custer State Park - Crazy Horse - Devil's Tower - Yellowstone - Grand Teton National Park - Salt Lake City.

Hitch Hiking 2.0 (1/7/12 - 06/2012)
Flagstaff - Tucson, AZ - San Diego - Camp Pendleton - LA - Malibu - Santa Barbara - San Luis Obispo - Paso Robles - Monterey - Santa Cruz - Bay Area - Fairfield - Tahoe - Ukiah - Mendocino - Ft. Bragg - Humboldt Redwoods SP - Eureka/Arcata - Eugene - Cougar Hot Springs - Portland - Seattle - Olympic NP - Seattle - Boise, ID - SLC - Flagstaff - Sequoia NP - Yosemite NP - San Fran - Redwood Grove - Medford, OR - Applegate - Crater Lake - Bend - Portland - Sasquatch Music Festival - Boise - SLC - Flagstaff (END).

Then I lived near Napa, CA doing catering there for the fall season. After that I took a bus over the border to Mexico City and spent about a month there before heading south for the Oaxacan coast for a few days. Then while traveling through San Cristobal I was convinced to stay for a few more days.

Then (See Amazing Thing in your life) I live in Guatemala for about three months. Make a friend that I traveled to El Salvador and Honduras with, then after getting robbed in Honduras we fly to Florida with the dream of going to BC, Canada in one month. So, we hitch all the way there (through the south, to AZ, up the coast of California to BC and don't get in for various reasons (the main one being that Canada hates us) so we go to N. Dakota (don't ask why), and turn around and go back to Cali, then turn back around and go through Utah and Colorado to Chicago and Detroit to get into Ontario (where she has family) and I change my mind at the border because I decide I hate Canada. So I go back to Cali. That's where I am now. :) Haha. I'm going to Colombia en enero.

PHILOSOPHY

Love. Kindness. Open Communication.

Be comfortable with yourself. Be friendly. Don't steal. Don't fuck with other people. I like to be minimalistic, but I understand if you're the opposite, I just think it's easier. Ride a bike more, there's no excuse not to unless you're broken.
