ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, outgoing and easy going person. I love nature and wild life. I love diving and photography. I learn and I share with others. I am quiet and a good listener but will definately enjoy a good conversation about travel, diving and photography.

I am a organised person, always ensure everything is in control. After my RTW trip in 2011, I tent to take things more easily, if my trip is short I will make some plans, if it is long, I will just go with the flow.

Whenever I can, I will try to host CSurfers if they give me enough time to plan. I threat Csurfers the way I hope to be threated when I travel and couchsurf. :-)

Interests

Since 2013, I started dancing salsa. 2014, started Tango and 2015 I discovered Kizomba. Ever since then Kizomba has been a big part of my passion. I shared my passion thru teaching, organising activities for the communities and DJ in some ASIA festival.
Other old interest are Diving, photography, sports, travel, trekking, biking, hiking, birds and nature. (Anything under the sun!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to Chill out music, I DJ in Kizomba Festival in Asia, made some mix tapes, read my favorite author John Grisham, Nicholas Sparks, Mariah Stewart books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Signed up as Cser. It open the world to me and bring the world closer to my door step.

Unforgetable encounter, I have seen 2 Whalesharks (5m and 3m) on 1 trip in South China Sea May 2007! Swam with them and play with them for almost an hour. :-) Breathtaking! Took some wonderful photos of the WS.

Was caught in Typhoon Ketsana in Vietnam Sept 2009, experience the strong wind, the flood and total disconnection from outside world! Vacation was extended for extra 2 days due to flight cancellation. Cool!

Had last minute flight cancellation, slept outside Jakarta airport for 1 night to catch the 5am flight, reach Gorontalo, caught a 12 hours local ferry to Togian, the experience on the ferry was one of a kind. Ferry was loaded with goods, animals, durians, and we were like a floating market passing thru all the villages, having exchange of goods and passengers at every single stop before arriving at Togian islands. Just there to see the WWII B-24 bomber.

Reached the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro @ 5895m in 2015!
