ABOUT ME

"all-in-one" person, most of the time a happy human being!
I am very optimistic and active, always full of hope and energy
I'm easy going, spontaneous, free, independant, sometimes sitting back and relax and observing, taking it all in, spiritual, complex yet simple, driven, creative, curious, can be critical but always open...
I love to have people around, exchanging stories, experiences, opinions, getting enriched, but I also love to spent time on my own and enjoy the quietness around me, getting lost in time and space (preferably in nature!)
The thing I love the most (besides family, close friends and my cat) is being amazed by all the little magical things around me, re-discovering the beauty over and over again, finding joy in the small things in life and sharing this with others.
I would need at least three lifetimes to do all the things I still want to do and learn and find, I guess I never get bored and am always trying out new things or finding an excuse to travel or to spent hours and hours painting or working on an expo-to-be, everything that makes me feel alive!
All of the above gives me inspiration, so does having new people over, from all around the globe (or from nextdoor)
i'm open to new avenues of exploration, whether they be cultural, emotional or spiritual.

Life for me is a continuous process of learning. There's so much diversity in the world, so much to be explored, shared, experienced, understood. Travelling is the most interesting, spontaneous and enriching form of learning in my experience, and that is why i love it.
We take so much for granted, and although being happy is the main premise of my life philosophy, i like to be and try to be, always aware of what i'm experiencing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is the best idea I have seen in many years...!! To make friends abroad or at home, discovering places from a different perspective, hosting people, adding cosiness and "a new, fresh wind" to our little home.
CS is a project founded on trust and mutual respect, It simply makes me happy

Interests

I love spending days and days reading a good book (and not having to come out of bed), making jewellery, felt-art and creating things, listening to the rain, art, singing out loud, going crazy, dancing in my livingroom, walking barefeet, watching my plants grow, olive oil, observing the magical world of bees, painting, reiki, ayurveda, drawing, meditation, poetry, going to concerts and discover new things, talking to trees, going with the flow, travelling around the world, morning pigeons, falling in love, chocolate with nuts, jazz, honesty, great (healthy) food, yoga, photography, contemplating about life, the smell of wet cobblestones and hot chocolate, kisses and fleamarkets
I enjoy the city life, but i also love nature, sunshine is my medicine, so is laughter and music, philosophy, creativity, humour, new chapters, great films, the color red, hedgehogs, friends, cosiness, being around loved ones, my cats, music! etc etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

my life so far - every day is an adventure ;)

(ok ok, jumping out of an airplane, aka skydiving, was pretty amazing I must admit)

Seeing an original Rothko in Tate Modern... !!! (wow!)

bathing in a hotspring in cold winter in the Himalayas (with 50 other women or so)

The Himalaya's .... absolutely wow.....

and traveling on my own, which is the most wonderful thing, each time again

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything I haven't tried before

I would love to learn at least another ten languages, how to play an instrument, cook new things, surprise myself...and you! oooh too much to mention
I can start by teaching you how to make great banana bread :)

But what I'm really after, is learning the art of living, each day, over and over again - that's basically the most important thing.... :)
