I’m a senior lady who is a member of Servas International with whom I have travelled and hosted. I love to meet locals in the places I visit. Also, I feel safe with such hosts. I still do a little teaching in ESL and Love choral singing. Besides visits with my family and friends, I love to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Please see above comments. This would be my first experience with Couchsurfing.
If I find a host, I will be in Traverse City from Aug 1 for the TCFF and will be volunteering .
My son’s film has been invited to show this year and I’m there as part of his fan base.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled. 3 weeks in Australia on my own a couple of years ago. Spent 6 weeks teaching English in Beijing.

Because I’m older, I probably have a bit of experience. I am delighted to learn new things and I try to be open minded and accepting of all.
I am regarded by many of our guests as being a very good cook. We tend to eat healthy foods , organically or naturally raised.
