Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment im studying in australia, in a few months I will be traveling a whole lot! I need traveling compagnions, places to stay and a few tips what to do in the neighbourhood!

Interests

Really a lot. I like everything that has to do with nature (except maybe spiders and creepy bugs). I like reading books, watching movies, listening to music. One thing I really like is talking with people, listening to them, understanding them, and share stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many books, i wish i had the time (and not the dyslexia) to read them all. right now I mostly read sci-fi. Im a HUGE fan of harry potter (but only the books) I think ive read them all at least 10 times. I really like Terry Pratchett.

For movies its almost the same story as for books, mostly sci-fi. But anything will do if it gets a high rate on IMDb.

I like almost all kind of music, from the beatles to bob marley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What i really liked was my hike in slovenia. We planned to walk a mountain, half way it was decieded to climb it all the way to the top. I have astma so i was allready totaly exhausted, everyone said i should wait there, for them to return from the top. I dont like people telling me what to do so it only made me more determined to go to the top. Once we were there it was the most amazing view, it was awesome.

I know, not the greatest amazing thing. Im planning a lot more amazing things in Australia

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like talking with people, I like to make it 'gezellig' which is a dutch word without a translation. No words can descibe it, one can only understand it once they experienced it. A near translation of it would be a combination of nice, cozy, sociable and homy.
I am always up for a good movie or tv series. Im up for trying new things and really like to learn random stuff (or not random stuff for that matter).
Also, Ive heard i give very good advice so thats something..
