I love being around friends, meeting new people, exploring the world, a party from time to time and living abroad so I really get to know the culture and the locals instead of only the tourist places. I am always in for new adventures! I am in fact so passionate about different cultures, I even studied Cultural diversity as my Master's course ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love the concept, ever since I heard about it back in 2008. Meeting and staying with local people really provides a different experience to a trip, when couchsurfing I often feel like I am participating in the life of that place, rather than observing it like when I am staying in a hostel. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to host people in places I have lived in yet (flatmates and landlords who would not like the idea etc). I have wonderful experiences being hosted in Ambon, Indonesia; Paris, France; and Warsaw, Poland however! :) I have also met up with many awesome couchsurfers in Guangzhou, China; Alexandria, Egypt; Tilburg, the Netherlands; and Berlin, Germany! Many of them I am still in touch with and became close friends! :D
