ABOUT ME

I am a friendly outgoing person, who enjoys learning and experiencing different cultures and customs. I am intuitive and respectful of peoples needs and like positiveness rather than negativity. I look at life as to be lived, you're only here once and so I try and make every day matter.

Whilst I live in a country area, I have many friends and relatives stay with me over the year - to catch up or just have a base to explore the area around me.

I have travelled quite a bit through Australia, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Ireland, US and UK.

PHILOSOPHY

I am open minded and accept the differences of people and places. I have a natural preference to seeing the good in people and prefer to encourage people to be the best they can be, rather than destroy.

I am interested in psychology and why people do what they do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have two sons, who are now adults and I was introduced to couchsurfing by them. My partner has also couchsurfed.

I enjoy entertaining friends and relatives and often have people stay - enjoying their company, laughing and bantering or talking seriously about stuff from the deep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am looking forward to couchsurfing and getting to know many friends from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Centres d'intérêt

Of course, one of my main passions is travel; but I also enjoy cycling, quilting, gardening, reading and catching up with friends. Whilst I shuffle paper for a living, I like to stimulate my practical nature and I have renovated a number of houses and gardens I have lived in. So painting rooms, pulling up carpets, tiling and the like are second nature to me.
