About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people, make new friends, learn about other cultures and travel to new destinations... then together change the world =)

ABOUT ME

Soul searching these days more often meeting new people to get inspiration on life and meaning of why we are all here and what purpose we all have in this limited time on earth.

PHILOSOPHY

I appreciate open-mindedness, listening before talking or judging and I believe that curiosity keeps you young, at least at heart, and life should involve surprises and a good portion of the unpredictable and risks, makes life much more colorful and interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a crazy follower of music, basically anything exotic, new, and has a nice rhythm I will probably like. Besides some hip-hop and 90's soft rock, I like an occasional french piano jazz. My favorite author is Anne Rice and I'm a big fan of Michael Pollan, Michael Crichton, Dan Brown, and Laurell K. Hamilton. I don't read as much as I'd like to... working on that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've sky-dived in Los Angeles and white water rafted in the northeast on a class 4+ rapid. I have officially been dead for 4-7 minutes with no breathing and heart beat. I've since rafted again in Germany on the Isar and I've once been a permanent resident of South Africa. What's next?

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach Chinese or English to anyone on my travels. I'd love to learn another language too. I don't have a preference but mostly love to talk about philosophy, science, travel, and culture. I'd also be willing to show anyone around Austin or share my travel experience through Europe and Asia.

Some day I would like to Eat Pray and Love my way through my version fo Italy and Asia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories about my life and travels, deep discussions about purpose of life, philosophy, science, spirituality, buddhism, morality of food.
