Wayne and I love the outdoors, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, caving, gardening, archery and exploring new places. We also love music, reading, and movies.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We started out six years ago by offering our extra bedrooms to guests, and we did this for about a year. Then we joined the Wwoof Program (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms). With Wwoof, people from all over the world, primarily Germany and France have lived with us from two weeks, and up to five months helping us on our Horse farm and garden. We live on a beautiful 6 acre hobby farm with eight horses, chickens, extensive gardens and ponds out in the woods, hence the name Mystic Woods. Quiet, and peaceful, with our own resident deer, 3 cats, and we see the occasional Bear in the fall, who comes to eat our apples. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We finally got a chance to try couchsurfing ourselves now that we are in Germany, and really love staying with the local people. We have mostly been staying with the incredible friends that we have made at our place, but there are a few places that we wish to visit, that we do not know anyone. I like the couch surfing experience so far, as people that are offering also want to meet other people.

I am crazy for horses, have 2 and love them. Need to do more travelling. Love gardening, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, archery, reading, LOVE everything Medieval and Celtic. Love music of all sorts.
Wayne loves people, he could chat for hours about anything. He is also a computer programmer, and loves to invent things, and talk about anything techy.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Love most fantasy books like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and magic type like Harry Potter. Very much a sword and sorcery fan in books and movies. Like playing World of Warcraft on-line.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The most amazing thing I did was jumping out of an Airplane and free falling for 6,000 feet or so, then parachuting down to the ground. That was an extreme rush. Also loved diving on the Great Barrier Reef, and going White water rafting in New Zealand.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love to teach what I am knowledgeable about which is landscape design and I teach natural horsemanship, and I also love to keep learning. For learning, I am doing my best to learn Deutch, but I am only at 39% according to duolingo.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

With hosts Wayne and I both love to cook, so we can make a nice meal, or we would be happy to take you out for dinner if you would prefer. We also love chatting about almost any subject. For Corinne her big passion would be to talk about horses, but also traveling. Wayne and I are both very open minded and like to discuss other peoples philosophies.
