CURRENT MISSION
To See the world..
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy-going west coaster who is extremely outgoing and always ready for a good laugh. I'm very easy to get along with and welcome every chance I get to befriend new people. Being a traveller myself, I know what it's like to be alone in a new place and be the new kid on the block.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is that everyone has their own! Here is mine-my philosophy is my own and yours is yours. They are meant to be special and unique to who we are and to our past experiences. Stay true to you--and have some adventures along the way
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My intention with couch-surfing is to help people get organized and settle in Vancouver. I'm always very helpful and will answer any questions you may have! Vancouver is a beautiful city with lots to see and do and I love seeing it through the eyes of someone new to the city. So if you're interested in touring the city's hotspots or just meeting for a coffee, feel free to contact me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although i have never personally couch surfed, I have a lot friends who have and they loved their experiences! It's such a great way to meet new people from all over the world. I would love to try couch surfing one day soon, as I have some extensive travel plans in the works, such as Australia and New Zealand, just to name a couple! In the meanwhile, I'd love to meet some other couch surfers new to the city.
Interests
First and foremost, I love travelling--hence why I'm on a site such as this. I'm called the "Gypsy" by many of my friends because I like to get up and go wherever the wind takes me. I love living the gypsy life! Besides travelling, I love writing poetry and have recently begun getting active in the poetry scene. It's a great way to vent out energy and channel my emotions. I'm also a huge fan of reading, so let's pick a book we've both read and chat about it over coffee! Other interests of mine include walking all around town (but I'm also the queen of public transit, so feel free to ask any questions you have about Vancouver's public transit sysem). Of course I also like hanging out with my friends. Like I said before, there's lots to see and do in this city so we're always kept very busy

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- I like all sorts of movies. I enjoy seeing new movies just out in theatres, while also seeing foreign movies that are a bit unknown.
Music- I love music! I love every aspect of it and every facet of it. I like artists who can lyrically express themselves and inspire, like the one and only Alicia Keys. I like songs that tell a story and really make me think. I like a song to be like a poem.
I like books that can keep my attention to the very end and keep me hanging on to every word right up until the last period. A good book has to be savoured and enjoyed so thoroughly that I don't want to put it down. I really enjoy reading memoirs and learning about people's experiences in their lives. It's books like these that can teach us so much about human nature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
N/A
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to teach others about this beautiful city and what makes it as grand as it is. As I teach about my city, I hope to learn about yours. After all, there are the possibilities of new adventures at every turn and you never know if I will, one day, be the newcomer to your city! I hope to share some of my experiences-- both within my city and also my experiences of being alone in a foreign place. I hope that we can share stories and interests and a few good laughs
