Overview
About Me
I like to think I'm an uncomplicated person who likes good vibes and positivity.
I was born and raised in Haarlem, the Netherlands. I have lived in Aruba (an island in the Caribbean) for two years. Isn't it funny how we take things for granted, because we consider them as normal? After being away from my home town I started to appreciate where I came from. And thanks to hosting travelers, I have learned to see the beauty of this little country with its windmills, wooden shoes and an airport with an unpronounceable name :P (yup, that would be the first thing I'd like to change if I were to run this country).
I live with my son, Oneal (18 years old), and my daughter, Sholy (21 years old).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world to get to know them, have a good conversation and a laugh. Maybe share a meal or go visit a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Unintentionally driving on the Kahekili highway in Maui, which turned out to be one of the deadliest highways in the world. But hey, I'm still alive!
