ABOUT ME

I´m a sportsfreak. I like aln´most every kind of sport or at least wanna try it. Most of my freetime I spend playing volleyball and rowing. I did learn rowing at the University in Marburg and love it. I train 3 to 5 times a week and have regatta at the weekend. I study cultural and social anthropology in Marburg, getting in touch with cultures and religions from all over the world. I´m planning to go to south America during the next year. I love it to travel to other countries, to meet new and different people and to make new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep smiling.
I live my live because of the small but special moments like sitting in the kitchen on a cold winters day and drinking a cup of hot chocolate.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couchsurfing is one of the best ideas ever because it makes traveling possible although you have a low budget.
Even though we have very little space in our flat I´d host somebody if he/she wouldn´t find sth. But at least I´m always willing to spend some time for a coffee or tea at the city or at my place and to show you my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my stay in Barcelona I travelled to Madrid with four other friends. One of them told us that he had a friend there who could host us. This friend had not enough space in his flat but his aunt who was for holiday allowed us to stay in her house. So we spent two nights in a big house near to Madrid. It was so amazing that he made it possible for 3 absolutely unknow people.
He took it for granted to show us the whole city. That was when I realized that I´d like to do sth. similar.

music, piano although I can not play it, guitar, Volleyball, skiing, snowboarding, surfing although I didn´t learn it upto now, meeting international people, meeting open minded people, Volleyball, hiking, swimming, beachvolleyball, going for holidays, reading all kind of books and currently a lot of rowing.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

A lot of books, i prefer a book to a movie. I like rock and pop music. Most of the time I listen to the radio. I like the songs they play.
My favorite author is Marc Levy and I like Anna Gavalda. From time to time I also read a Nora Roberts book.
Preston/Child, Ken Follet,...but most of the time I read novels :) thrillers are for holidays on the beach :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

During a holiday trip with my parents we got up really early to go hiking. We climbed on a mountain and we were on top when the sun was rising, it was amazing.
