ABOUT ME

My name is Fleur, I'm a social person who loves meeting new people and learn about their culture/music/cuisine...

As you're about to find out when we meet; I'm addicted to music. I wouldn't know what to do without it. I listen to music non-stop and I play trumpet and guitar.

I go to a lot of concerts and festivals. Every year there are two festivals in Bruges called the Cactusfestival (http://www.cactusfestival.be/programma_en.asp) and Klinkers (free festival! http://www.klinkers-brugge.be/home_en.asp); my brother and I help setting the cactusfestival up and cleaning up afterwards. So if you plan on coming to Bruges sometime, you should come the first/second week of july or the first/second week of august! (But I can't host you during that period 'cause I'll be too busy)

I've studied arts in high school and just graduated as a master graphic designer/illustrator.

I've got two brothers; Michiel and Martijn. Martijn is 34 and lives together with his wife and daughter. Michiel is 33 and lives with his girlfriend and her son. My father is a photographer and a teacher and my mother a calligrapher and also a teacher.

Meeting Damon Gough (Badly Drawn Boy) and spending an evening at a café in Ghent with him and the band.

Hmm, and I've seen Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Leonard Cohen, Madness, Paul Weller and the Australian Pink Floyd Show live, that's amazing to me :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can let you get to know new music :) Now and then I organize something I call a "Muziek avond", it means "Music night". I'll try to explain what it is: I ask my friends to look for some music they like, but of which they think I don't know it yet and will probably appreciate it (Okay that sentence probably isn't right, but I think you know what I mean?) And that way we all get to know some new stuff :) So maybe I'll do that when you're here!
