ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, I am Arnaud, 26 French guy, and welcome to my profile.

I would say I am someone optimistic, always enthusiastic, and easy-going. I like to meet new people and discovering new ways of thinking, and to learn and share from each other.

PHILOSOPHY

I think optimism and positive spirit are the key to succeed in everything ! When stop focusing on problems but more on solutions, failures turn to become opportunities !

I also love this sentence from Albert Einstein : "Imagination is more important than knowledge"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not been using Couchsurfing in a while. I unfortunately cannot host at the moment, but I hope to be able to attend to various CS events, and for sure I would always be glad to give advices to travelers or newcomers, and of course having fun chatting and drinking a couple of beers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had great time in Australia thanks to Couchsurfing, being hosted by great guys in Sydney and Camberra. CS is a great way to meet different people with different backgrounds and lifestyle, but openminded, making every experience a fruitful one.

Interests

- Writing, creating stories, worlds, characters
- Acting, I have started some classes a couple of month ago and I am totally addicted to it
- Sports, especially basketball and hiking, but I am often in for every other sport (I am just incredibly bad with my feet, why is soccer so popular ???)
- From my nerd side, I love board games, video games, and especially some drinking board and video games parties...
- Traveling, going out, meeting mew people and just talking about everything
- Laughing, what else ?

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : If you are looking for me, go to the nearest cinema, I will probably be there watching something. More seriously, I enjoy movies, from ready-to-eat blockbusters to more original ones. I especially like all Tarantino movies and Asian horror movies (so scary !!!)

Music : I am quite eclectic, even if I am more rock oriented.

Authors : Bernard Werber, Georges Martin, David Gemmel, Michael Moorcock, Jean-Christophe Grange, ... Fantastic, SF and thrillers are my favorite, but I like to try different lectures as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a native French speaker so I would always be glad to help anybody interested in improving its languages skills. And if I can improve my English, Spanish and/or Japanese at the same time, it's perfect !

Sharing stories, debating about everything, we always have things to discover from each other.
