I traveled a lot in the past years – far more than my parents could in the time they were younger.

Actually I started this CS account together with a a friend and design colleague of mine [Laetitia]. Our first Couchsurfing trip was to Irland – for a week or two. It was a wonderful experience. We always enjoyed the hospitality and kindness of people so that we got addicted to this community.

A few years ago I made a big trip together with Laetitia again. We were traveling overland from Germany to Cambodia for six month. Cambodia was our final destination for a social education program, which we planned within two years next to our studies. The trip was absolutely amazing. So much hospitality, kindness and openness!!! And of course a handful of great stories too.

I even had the chance to live and work in other countries [NEP, KHM, ITA] and I would love to go to Scotland for a year or two in the future – I love their accent!!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I experienced a lot of kindness through Couchsurfing. So I hope I can give a part of it back to people who decide to visit me.

What I learned and experienced:
- Being loved for my curiosity!
- Having the courage to talk to strangers.
- Feeling everywhere at home.
- Talking through the whole night about topics I hadn't in my mind before.
- Feeling the force of people in doing what they want.
