About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To seek out new experiences, new cultures, to boldly go where my heart desires
ABOUT ME
Adventurous, curious, clean, calm
Please read my home description if you are looking for a place to stay. I have conditions that you need to be aware of. If you do not read it, do not request to stay with me please.
Would love to Cooksurf!
PHILOSOPHY
There is always someone out there for you, be it a friend or companion to walk the roads with the rest of your life. You are never alone as you may feel.
Not all who wander are lost.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel a bunch and it is always helpful to know there are other people out there who want to connect and expand their minds by meeting new people. I also want to learn and I really believe in people and the kindness we should share to each other. Why people feel they have to isolate themselves is beyond me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted several times now and the experience has been positive once I actually get accepted. Europe is hard to get people to agree to host, other countries I seem to be overwhelmed with positive agreements and loads of acceptances. I've hosted and so far the guests have been amazing. Thoughtful and flexible to deal with my cabin quirks and schedule.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now books aren't that big on my list which is surprising cuz I love to read...but I do like the epics like LOTR, Harry potter, Game of Thrones, Women in the field. As for music: Ewert and The Two Dragons, The Piano Guys, JUNIP, José Gonzales, Cake, Punch Brothers, Sarah Brightman, Eddie Vedder, Foster The People, Cage The Elephant, Imogene Heap, Alexi Murdoch, Feist, Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, Zee Avi,Thievery Corporation, Adele, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Bruno Mars, The Black Keys, The Shins, Keane, Jason Mraz, Good Lovelies, Indian Ocean, Yann Tiersen, Railroad Earth, Xavier Rudd, Widespread Panic, Greatful Dead, Rusted Root, Rodrigo y Gabriela,They Might Be Giants, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Yo-Yo Ma...oooh the list goes on
Teach, Learn, Share
When traveling, I really don't like those people who aren't open to new experiences - I think that is completely missing the point of traveling. If you don't want to have new experiences then stay home. So, I try to be open to crazy things I wouldn't normally do...like entering a reindeer race, eating boiled walrus intestines, and volunteering to work at a concert in a country where you don't speak the language.
I try to learn one handy craft or skill from every culture I experience. Be it making cheese, a favorite food dish, weaving bracelets from tree bark, sewing flower patterns or salt bags for traveling.
