Hi there,

My name is Gittan and I I'm an optimist.

I'm at my best when I'm improvising, I love the unexpected and the unknown. I have an amazing power of putting things into perspective, but I haven't decided yet if that is a good thing. I'm also somewhat chaotic, but I have a strong sense of responsibility towards others, so I never leave a mess. I'm social, have a good sense of humor, but deep down also kind of a nerd with a passion for science.

For the comping 6 months, I'll be in Melbourne doing a 6 month internship. In these 6 months I want to fill my spare time with as many amazing experiences as possible. So, to get the most out of my experience, I decided to revitalise this Couchsurfing account I created when traveling around the US for 3 months!

I'm still a student. I started my studies as a designer, after that I became a scientist and now I'm turning more and more into a business man. I have no idea where I'll end up, but so far I am enjoying the hell out of it, so that's good.

Like many people in their mid twenties I've lost most of my hobbies.. I used to name cool things like cycling, drawing and graphic design, but when people ask me about it nowadays, I don't get much further than 'traveling, festivals, and hanging fun with friends'.. On the plus side, fully devoting my time to having fun with friends did result in me being pretty good at it!

I don't have a place in Melbourne yet, but as soon as I do, you can come and stay with me!
