Hello everyone!

I am a 26-year-old student, recently finished a one-year program of Chinese Language at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. I am taking advantage of this opportunity to travel to different cities in China. I’m am currently in Kunming, Yunnan.

I have many interests that I would love to share; my hobbies include any kind of craft (such as knitting or sewing), sports on the more "artistic" side (currently, mostly aerial acrobatics and ballet) and languages. The last one I also studied at university — linguistics! I really enjoy learning languages or just talking about languages and sharing knowledge. I also enjoy meeting new folks, especially from different backgrounds, and learning about their cultures.

I am about to fulfil an old dream and travel around China during the upcoming summer vacation. Hence, I'm looking for nice people to hang out with and possibly to even stay on their couch for parts of my stay. I am clean and tidy and know how to respect personal space, but I would also very much enjoy hanging out with my host(s) and getting to know each other. I love going to museums, roaming around the city, going on hikes, as well as going to bars and clubs (I love dancing!). I also like cooking and would love to present my host(s) to local foods from my country :)
