Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been an avid solo traveller myself and have a deep love for the mountains. I understand how difficult it becomes for solo travellers when travelling on their own. The feeling of compassion and empathy along with affordability for the traveller drives me to host good companions of similar taste and likings. Along with the hope to connect with someone likeminded in another country who would host me.

I am a modern jazz music con-noisier and a jazz drummer. From Pat Metheny to Chick Corea and everything in between is my fancy. I am not much of a classic book worm. The total movie buff and some of the names I recollect in recent times are Wolf Of Wall Street, Revenant, Reservoir Dogs, Scent Of A Woman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed one night alone in a 2 km radius of no mans land with no cell phones or connectivity with the world at Deoriyatal ( near Ukhimath in Uttaranchal) in the foothills of the Himalayas.
