Overview
About Me
I am 21 years old, i grew up in Syria, then moved to Montreal to pursue my studies , i am very sociable with people i'm comfortable with. I always try to give the best first impression every time i meet someone new. i like to listen and learn from every single person older than me. i believe that the more a person travels, the wiser he becomes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing because i want to meet new people of different cultures, different traditions, i have spent 21 year of my life learning about the whole world from books, i believe it is time to go and experience everything someone learns. Specially when you are already fascinated about them from books.
Interests
i have a lot of interests, but i practice few, i like chess and i am very good at it. i like swimming and bicycling very much. i also like hiking and archery very much, but never had the chance to actually practice them properly.

Music, Movies, and Books
My Favourite Genre of music is the Classical and the Jazz music. My favourite artists are Mozart, Louis Armstrong, Edith Piaf. As for movies, my favourite Movie is V for Vendetta, the Count Of Monte Cristo, beautiful films, i watch them one every week. i am not too much of a reader, but one of the books i've read is Inferno written by Dan Brown, this book was a masterpiece i really loved it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i am only 21 years old, i did a lot of beautiful things, among them, camping on the river side, a little hiking, but i am still looking for amazing things to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing i can think of is that when you are out camping, never take more than you need, keep it minimal and useful. Last time i went camping with my friends, we struggled so much for carrying all our stuff. One thing that fascinates me in this world is to understand people, i strongly believe that the more you meet different kind of people the more it is easy to understand them. And i would like to share a rather ironic and surprising information i have learned in Singapore is that, in that particular country there is not such thing as retirement! i was once served food by a 92 years old man. i actually stood up and insisted that he should eat with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
what i can share with hosts is, the beautiful life in Syria, it's norms and traditions, my experience in Singapore and France and tell them what i've learn. i can share with them a lot of interesting things about the unfortunately distorted image of the Middle East.
