*Disclaimer: Before you read through the rest of this, I'm only here to host travellers in need of accommodation and host. Couchsurfing is NOT A DATING APP! Also not interested in hangouts as I don't have free time for such things. I will not accept solo male guests for safety reasons (and based on my experience on using this app so far). Ladies and couples are most welcome though. Please guys, don't harass female hosts on this app. You're not doing yourself any favours, and you're only making it hard for other, well meaning male travellers by leaving such a bad impression to hosts.

Okay, now that that's out of the way:
Currently working in Ipoh, Perak and living with 2 cats in a 3 bedroom house. I have started to travel in the recent years, and realized how much I loved staycations more than hotels, and that having a local hosts makes so much of a difference. That's why I am looking to try couch surfing in hopes of finding like minded people, giving them comfortable, safe and fun local experiences, as well as hoping to expand my network of friends for future travel opportunities :)

Prefer guests to request a stay at least one week in advance, with clear information on who the guests are, what are their expectations, and when they are coming and leaving. Guests need to be respectful and clean up after themselves. Last minute guests may be considered if they provide clear information of who they are and what they expect from their stay. But take into consideration that I might not even have time to read your request if you send it too last minute :(

I am working as a sales manager and would usually be travelling around Perak. My work takes up most of my time. Thus, I need clear timelines in order to manage my schedule and your expectations as well :)

About Ipoh: Ipoh is the capital of the state of Perak in Malaysia and it is the third largest city in the country and serves as the gateway to Cameron Highlands. Situated between Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Ipoh is best known for the excellent restaurants, famous local dishes and hawkers who make the city shine all year round. Getting in to Ipoh is mostly done via Sultan Azlan Airport, Amanjaya Bus Terminal and several KTMB Trains stations.
