Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to start travelling with an intention of meeting more people. I've been to many places. But I've yet traveled while engaging with locals. It's something I'd like to change.

Interests

I'm a massive Arsenal fan. I can talk about football (soccer for you North Americans) for hours at end. I'm also starting to follow hockey and I'm keeping up with the Habs. If you are into hockey, I'd really appreciate if you can indulge me in the world of hockey. I'm not very athletic but I love playing basketball.
I'm also really into video games. I have all the Playstations and a gaming laptop to entertain me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Metal and rock music are basically the only kind music that I really listen to. Currently I'm exploring post-rock music. Though Avenged Sevenfold is still favourite band of all time. Don't hesitate to talk to me about other kinds of music though because I can definitely appreciate good music when I listen to them.

I don't have any absolute favourite movie but Interstellar remains that one movie that really blows my mind. I would also say that the Star Wars series remain a nostalgic part of my life. I love action, adventure, sci-fi movies in general.

I used to read books a lot. It's been less frequent now due to diminishing interests unfortunately. But the Harry Potter series is still my favourite book series of all time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd more than love to talk about football and hockey. I'd love to learn more about the fan culture when it comes to hockey because I really want to get into hockey.
I'm currently learning French, if you are fluent, I'd really appreciate if I can practice my French. In exchange I can teach Malay.

I can share travel tips to places I've been to. I also have a pretty good camera and I see myself as competent enough to take pictures.
