About Me

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to leave footprints by doing a lot of things and becoming a person worth remembering...
For now, I run a Youtube channel, I travel, I study and I work. I am quite an old soul. I still write handwritten love letters, I enjoy reading as a part of evening ritual, I love listening to my gramophone, practice calligraphy and enjoy Audrey Hepburn and Woody Allen movies. In fact, Audrey was the only person I aspire to be. Living
in the historic tenement house in the Jewish quarter of Kraków makes me feel even more connected to my favorite decade.

ABOUT ME

I’m a 24-year-old crazy girl who loves laughing, meeting new people and discovering new cultures.

I have finished my Bachelor of Arts from philology and applied linguistics: English and French with translation program and I study English and French linguistics: translation and intercultural communication in Kraków, Jagiellonian University. It is the Master's Degree program.

I am very passionate both with those languages and translating. I find Spanish as the sexiest language (French is the most classy one, right?;)

I’m a member of Postcrossing and in my opinion, it’s a wonderful opportunity to exchange knowledge about different countries. I’m Pisces, the only child in my family but I love children and I work with them every day. They make me happy and they constantly teach me how to be cheerful and how to experience more. I spent wonderful holidays (4 months) in the UK as an au pair of little Jacob and he was the light of my life, then I was an au pair in France (Lyon - 3 months), Spain (2 months, Madrid) and Paris (2 months). This experience has changed me a lot. I met wonderful people and it was the most beautiful and important experience of my life.

I love rollerskating, I used to practice some yoga and aerial yoga and I'd say that I am quite an active person :) I walk a lot, all the time and since I remember.

I’m a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn – not only as an icon or a wonderful actress but as a wonderful person, very humble and always eager to help. I suppose that’s the reason why I admire her so much. I totally love „Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and I guess I've got a little Holly Golightly inside me (I’m a very sensitive person and emotions are important for me).

I love sweets, especially chocolate. I like baking and I’m quite good at preparing crème brûlée (that’s my favorite dessert as well :) ). Cooking is a lot of fun for me, I love trying new recipes! I cook every day. My favorite cuisine is Italian, Indian and Asian! If you are also into cooking, let's share some recipes and cook something together. It would be so much fun.

MY DREAMS

I love learning languages and discovering new cultures and traveling a lot. I know that I would like to be happy and I want to have a family. I'm humanistic and I love writing, too. I want to have red (my favorite color!) Volkswagen New Beetle on my own but for now, I don't even have a driving license :D Basically, I like everything which is classy and I rarely do wear trousers. I'm interested in fashion. I truly believe in Coco Chanel's words: "A woman without a perfume has no future". Coco is my diva as well.

I LIKE

I'm interested in languages, that is my hobby. I like good food as well - I'm a passionate pasta, pizza, and generally Italian food lover but I'm deeply in love with sushi as well. I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. Even though I am Polish, I don't drink much, I'm totally light-headed (I know, I bring shame to all Poles) but I rarely refuse a glass of wine. I love tea and I drink so many various types of it, I drink coffee sometimes but only with milk. I am also keen on vegetarian and vegan food even though I am NOT vegan. I am trying hard to eat healthily and combine it with delicious and sometimes maybe exotic tastes.

PHILOSOPHY

Basically, I'm not a very religious person. I think love makes miracles. Emotions are the most important for me and being good and kind to other people. Let's say, for a few years, I have got a dress and skirt „philosophy”. It is not a sect but I wear them every day, I travel in skirts and it made me feel like a real woman (also I find it very comfy). I am a member of the Facebook group "365 days in a skirt", I met wonderful girls there:) I like vintage fashion, especially the 50s.
