Hi! Hallo! Hola!

My name is Ignacio, but my friends say me Nacho. I really prefer that the people say me Nacho.
I borned in Concepción, City of south of Chile. But I growed and studied in Santiago, capital from Chile.

Actually, I live in Berlin, Germany. Where I am doing a program of work-holidays. It's my first time in Europe. For this reason, I would want know a lot of countries before come back to Chile.

I love the sports such as football, tennis, basketball, bike. But my favorite sport is football. I am fans from Universidad Catolica de Chile. When I have free time I try play football with my friends or watch some match.

I like the science. I am chemical engineer. I am very committed to sustainability, and the improvement and transformation of production processes to make them more appropriate to the current reality of our planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from other countries, learn about their cultures and languages, maybe be able to share a beer or a coffee. For me, it also helps me practice my English and German.

On the other hand, I would like to be able to show a little of the culture of my country.

For this, sometimes we need a place where we can rest.

My favorite book is The Little Prince, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. Also I liked famous Hispanic writers as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Gabriela Mistral, Eduardo Galeano, Jorge Baradit, Hernan Rivera Letelier, Pablo Neruda.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the moment I have not discovered the cure for any disease, much less do I have a Nobel Prize. But day by day I fight for a better world.

As a freak fact, I participated in a game show in my country.
