ABOUT ME

I don't find it easy to upload pics to CS, so I just upload a few. The rest are at: http://flickr.com/photos/nachof

I was born during the harsh winter of 1982. It was a cold, rainy morning. The kind of morning that foreshadows a great disaster. And I was born. Sort of. In fact, it's not something I did, it's more like something that was done to me. I mean, I really really wanted to stay inside. It was warm, and the outside was cold. But my mom said "no way", and threw me out. Then I grew up and I am here today.

PHILOSOPHY

Reality should be abolished. Twice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be available to host people. Sometimes, I even do host someone!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people, but not as many as I'd like to.

During a trip in October 2008 I was hosted by two different persons. It was my first experience being hosted via CS, and I loved it -- I now think there is no other way of travelling.

Interests

Almost anything. No, really. I like to know stuff. Books, movies, science, history, music, anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love science fiction.. But good sci fi; not star wars and that. I mean, that's not even science fiction, that is fantasy. If you take only the first three movies (the ones first in the real world, not in the internal chronology), it's even good fantasy. But call it science fiction just because there are aliens? Come on.
Anyway, I do like Orson Scott Card (although I decided that I won't read any non-fiction by him ever again; it makes me want to punch a Mormon in the face), and Ursula Le Guin, and many others.
Also, I like other kinds of books. Dawkins' "The Selfish Gene" was a recent favorite. Very nice, thought-provoking.
Then... movies. I do like them. But lately I never seem to be able to force myself to sit down for two hours. So all I see is tv shows. Well, in fact, the only one I see is Doctor Who. Did I mention it's great? Well, it is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every morning, I wake up, and the world is still here. Isn't that amazing?

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, China, Ecuador, France, Germany, Japan, Peru, South Korea, Spain, United States
