ABOUT ME

Hola, I'm Nacho.

I’m a mixture of all the experiences I’ve lived, places I've seen and touched and specially, all the people I've met. Basically I’m human and imperfect.

Here's some trivia about me

I'm Aquarius.
I have become a tonic water addicted.
I need the sun.
I can spend endless hours talking.
I believe in responsabilities.
I look really bad when wearing V necks.
I love Sunday mornings, bananas and pens.
I learnt to tie my shoes at the age of eight (how silly am i?)
I'm not very good at hiding, you can easily notice whatever it is that I’m going through in my face.
I don't like not knowing the lyrics of a song.

People say I worry too much, I hug too much, and that I look like Nicolas Cage. I'm working on the worrying thing. I won't stop hugging. And I am not really sure about the Nic Cage thing..

PHILOSOPHY

Living your life to the fullest consists on seeing and taking the best out of every experience, and specially, the best out of every person

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Create your own visitor map!

I try to do my best participating on everything related to CS Buenos Aires. Helping out, organising, playing, whatever there is.

I've been a member for more than six years. I attended -and continue to attend!- all sort of meetings:
cultural events, mateadas (make foreign people try their first mate), picnics, birthdays, parties, CS Camp Tigre 2007, CS Camp Tigre 2008, New Year's Eve 2009 in Tigre, by the river, with 30 people, etc, etc.

Sometimes I go to pick up CouchSurfing t-shirts with Menelaos and we get our asses in the middle of shootings, putting our lives in danger. But hey, only on Mondays.

Buenos Aires CS community is amazing and huuuge. There are events planned every single day, people to meet every week, and many many stories to tell. Come and be part of it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a guest, I surfed my best friend's couch for 9 (yes, nine!) months in Barcelona. It wasn't an official CouchSurfing experience, because my friend isn't a CS member. But I learnt a lot.

Hosted some people in Argentina.
I've done some floorsurfing, tentsurfing and carsurfing through CS. Beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

People and places. A good combination might make your life much better.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teching: Maybe I can teach you to prepare mate, an argentinian beverage. Or how to produce a low cost film.

Learning: I want to learn languages. I have no idea why but I'd love to learn russian. And french too. And I am a lousy cook, must improve my cooking skills, would you PLEASE teach me? I don't know how to whistle, teache me! I have NO idea how to chew bubbgle gum, I could learn that too. Playing the guitar as well. Oh right, learning how to dance (any rythm or genre) is something that I'd love.
As you can see, I'm ignorant in a wide variety of issues...

Sharing: One incredible thing that I've learnt is that people who have less, give more. Now THAT'S sharing. We can share some mates, it'll be nice.
