About Me

I'm an openminded, spontanious and active person who likes to meet new people and learn new things. I love the variety that our world offers and couchsurfing is a great opportunity to make use of it. I have many hobbies and interests, but at the end I just want to enjoy life and have a good time, so i don't have any problem with you, if we don't share many hobbies or so; we'll get along :)
I feel myself to have very different qualities, I tend to be very active, extroverted and cheerful, but also I like deep talks. I always had a strong sense of freedom and justice and I don't want to be the cause of anything bad. I always do my best and help if I can. But I'm not the stereotype german extracorrect pedant who calls his lawyer because of any peanuts...on the contrary: I think some rules only exist to disregard them ;)
I love beautiful summer evenings, watching the stars or sitting around a bonfire while listening to stories or guitar music. I tend do be confused and feel uncomfortable in big cities or crowds (I guess this comes from my background as a village kid) but still i try from time to time and I can also see the advantages and beautiful sides that cities have (a diversity of great food for example!). As you can see, I love to eat. I'm a slim girl, but I eat as much as a grown up man, and my life sometimes seems to circle around food. (that's the reason why some friends call me a hobbit. I'm also small). I'm also kind of an "artist", at least I often do creative stuff like sewing my clothes, drawing, composing, working on small selfmade jewellery...
Coming to the facts:
I share a small flat with my boyfriend and our cat, 30 km from my home village, where i use to visit my parents. I also have an older brother who lives in a city nearby, and i also visit him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was a kid, my father and I did a bycicle tour every summer, asking strange people if we could sleep in their garden with our tent. Most of the people were very nice and some invited us into their house for lunch and we always had a good time chattering. I always loved that free feeling and the fact, that you could build up connections or even make friends with people who once were strangers and I secretly hoped, that one day some stranger would knock at our door to ask for a place to stay. So maybe couchsurfing is a good opportunity to make that wish come true...
But I didn't join couchsurfing only to be a host. I also like to travel, learn to know new people and find a place to stay over.
