About Me

I am an outdoorsy exchange student always up for life's adventures.
I willingly decided to get off my but , leave my country and go see the world.
I have a funny accent and may not speak your language very well.
But I am eager to meet, chat, hang out and learn from you.
I long to experience your lifestyle , culture ,opinions and values.
I would love to share with you my culture , teach you words in my language , cook for you food from home ,and introduce my Tunisian favorite music to you .
If you would like to see the world through different lenses and get to know someone from an unfamiliar background,I'll be happy to meet you !
I also like giving back to the community and I am a member of Junior Chamber International ,Volunteer at Red Crescent and Career Coach in Dress for Success.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

'The great difference between voyages rests not with the ships , but with the people you meet on them'Amelia,E barr
This is actually my first time on Couchsurfing.
During my last trips around the United States , I used to saty at hotels.
But now , I want to take a better taste of different cultures by mingling and interacting directly with locals.
As Anthony Bourdain recommended , I am eager to find out how people live, eat ,cook... and learn from them wherever I go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Once you have tasted flight , you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward for there you have been and there you will always long to return"Leonardo Da Vinci
I will never forget my skydiving experience in Ocean Side , California.
When I first checked in at the reception, I had to complete a bunch of paperwork where I sign my life away and waive the Tandem of any liability in the event of a mishap (injury or death). I felt like I was gambling my life and I freaked out. I was very nervous when I was wearing my jump suit. I couldn't focus during the 5 minutes training given by my instructor. My heart kept beating so fast when boarding the airplane. Then came the time to jump !
It was like falling but it wasn't exactly falling!! It was flying!I was spinning upwards and backwards in a jet of burning air that whips away my voice ,deafens my ears and chokes my throat. it was Such a rush and everything looked so beautiful around.I will never forget that amazing freeing and intoxicating feeling. Then, the instructor opened the parachute and we were suddenly floating and soaring peacefully dreamlike in the quite air. After that, we gracefully landed.I was neither hurt nor dead. But I just lived the most incredible experience in my whole life for life itself begins at the end of the comfort zone.
