About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet people with different backgrounds and learn more about their cultures.

ABOUT ME

At the beginning I'm quite shy, but I'm also the one who talks to strangers on a party. When I'm with friends I usually talk a lot, and very fast, and sometimes a bit loud. But I can also be quiet und just listen to other people. Sometimes I'm funny, sometimes I'm serious. I can get really excited when something is going wrong, but I can also stay cool. I always want to be right and I really like to defend my opinion. But I also like to learn new stuff and other opinions, because I don't know everything.

I probably can write a lot more, but maybe you should just get to know me.

PHILOSOPHY

Have fun.

Don't eat yellow snow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spend a month in Madrid and met many CouchSurfers there, who were just great!
I also met some CouchSurfers in Leipzig, who were very nice too.
CouchSurfed in London, which was awesome (if you want to know why, I tell you when we meet)

Interests

Books, movies, series, sports, music, languages, talking, learning,...I read a lot, and various genres, like horror (Stephen King, Sebastian Fitzek), history (Diana Gabaldon), crime (J.D. Robb), fantasy (Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, C. Paolini, J. Stroud, Pullman), funny stuff like Christopher Moore (I LOVE "Lamb"). I like reading in German, English and Spanish.I hear a lot of music, pop, rock, punk, classic. I really like movie soundtracks like Amelie, Pirates of the Caribbean, but also just the songs. And I like the music of the ballet "The Nutcracker". I don't like Techno and House, I need something with a real melody, not just "untiss, untiss, untiss" ;-).I love watching movies. My absolute favourites are Amelie, Dogma, Ocean's 11/12/13, Disney and Pixar, Where the Wild Things Are. I like movies that make me laugh and cry. I also like good horror movies like "The orphanage", but I detest slash movies. And I like movies by Hayao Miyazaki.I really like American sitcoms like The Nanny, The Fresh Prince, The Bill Cosby Show, Roseanne, but also the newer ones, Friends, Scrubs, Malcolm in the Middle, How I Met Your Mother, The Bing Bang Theory, Two And a Half Men. But that doesn't mean I'm watching tv all day long.I like to learn new languages. Back in school I also had lessons in Russian and French, but I forgot most of it. I tried to learn Scottish Gaelic, but stopped because of Spanish.I like getting to know new places and exploring them, especially by foot. I also like to ride bicycle and swimming. But sometimes I just want to lie down, watch a movie or read a book.
