About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to explore living in Riyadh... at least for 7 weeks... 😂

travel to at least 50 different countris before I retire... ;-)

ABOUT ME

I am a girl, that likes to laugh, travel, dance and to have fun.
I made my a-levels in 2005, studied tax law after that.... but I expected more of life... ;-)
So... in the year 2010, I decided to become a "professional traveller" (sounds more interesting than "diplomat", I guess ;-) ) and I started to work for the Federal Foreign Office in April 2011.

If you like to find out more about me... just write and get in touch with me. I don't bite... ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

life is too short for stereotypes or prejudices... make your own experiences and you'll see what life can give to you...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

cause of my job I have to travel a lot and sometimes it can become boring if you dont know any people in the city where you are staying at the moment. Furthermore I love to meet new people and to learn something about new cultures. So, the best for me is to participate in cs. Its easy to get in touch with other people and to meet locals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started with cs some days before i went to los angeles. In 2014 and 2015 i was hosting quite a lot of people from all over the world... Argentina, Greece, Brazil, US, Russia, France, Costa Rica... It was a great experience but then i was pretty busy with my job, so I couldnt host that often anymore.
Surfing for the first time... This was in France, in summer 2015. I stayed in Antibes, near Cannes. My host was great. He showed me around, introduced me to his friends and made me feel comfortable while I was staying there.
I was more active in cs when i was in Tunis. The cs community is very energetic and it was fun to go to the weekly meetings. I also enjoyed to participate in the montly trips.
