About Me

I am a young open minded student of Literature and Lingusitics who loves to travel and to explore new countries and its people. When I don't study, I work in a small vegan Café which I enjoy very much because a healthy life style has always been important to me. I also work out at the gym and enjoy going for runs.

My biggest passion is travelling. I have visited many countries in Europe and my latest travel has been to southeast Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that there is no better way to dive into a culture than by spending time with local people. I appreciate foreign cultures and I am always interested to see the countries not only from a 'typical' touristic point of view.

I hope that Couchsurfing can help me finding people who are willing to share their insights about their home countries with me. I am also very much looking forward to sharing my stories about my life in Germany, the German traditions, as well as experiences from my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading very much and due to this, I enjoy basically all genres in literature. I like to read classic authors such as Homer but at the same time I found it very entertaining to read romantic novels or crime fiction.

When it comes to music, I am a big fan of the classic rock genre from the 1960s and 70s. I grew up with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. I also like hard Rock and Punk. But i am also a big fan of every day radio music or popular hits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a plane to southeast Asia without having any idea where to stay or where to go exactly. I have discovered that it can be very interesting and adventurous to not have a plan. It is a huge growing process and a life long experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn how to cook traditional dishes from the countries I visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I also would like to show you how to cook traditional German dishes such as typical potato salad or Sauerkraut.
