Hello Friends!

My name is Nadia, a Canadian girl, who is looking to travel, make new connections and set more intentions around exploration, pushing my own limits and seeking creative cool new opportunities and experiences.

I can be a little shy at first, but once I get more familiar with people and my surroundings, I have been told I talk quite quickly and excitedly! So you have been warned

I am working on my Undergraduate degree in Political Science and Gender studies in British Columbia, Canada. But currently, doing an exchange semester in the Netherlands.

On a practical level, I am new to couch surfing, but I have heard from friends and family many wonderful stories with their experiences with Couchsurfing that have lead to beautiful friendships. Based on these trusted recommendations I have decided to give it a try!

On a more philosophical level I have always been interested in people; their stories, passions, credos, aspirations etc. I think its important to be able to be able to connect with people from all different places and spaces.

My favorite activities revolve around flow arts, dancing and hooping. I have been a hooper/performer for around 3 years now. Its the creative outlet where I feel the most inspired. Sometimes I even set them on fire :)

I also love to go outdoors, camping, skiing, hiking, boating etc.

Cozy activities involving tea, reading feminist blogs, books, movies, music, chocolate and fuzzy blankets is also a favourable pastime of mine, especially in the colder winter months.
