Overview
About Me
I grew up in Russia but have been living in the US since 2004. Love travelling and learning about other countries. Currently taking some time off work to refocus and figure out what I want to do with my life going forward.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have started on CS as a host and met some cool people that way, with some of them we stay in touch to this day. It is nice to be able to share and expand your social circle at the same time. You learn something new from every person.
I am planning on travelling around the US this spring and am looking forward to experiencing CS not as a host but as a serfer this time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like soft jazz and some international music. Prefer independent films. And lately listen to my books mostly on Audible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 21 I dropped a well paying job in Moscow and went to live in Malawi, a third world country that I knew nothing about and that at the time didn't even have diplomatic relationships with Russia (my first country of residence). I still remember this period as one of the happiest times in my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, pleasant conversation and I know how to make thin crepes and Turkish coffee
