About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm known affectionately (I hope) as gypsy, due to my itinerant lifestyle rather than my penchant for bare-knuckle fighting! Living and working around the world for several years, guiding safaris in Namibia, Botswana and Angola, teaching English in Taiwan, Thailand, India and France; Managing a volunteer organization based in Ghana , Mali and Burkina Faso and studying social development in South Africa. Right now I teach religion and sociology in the Bahamas and am working on writing free-lance. Along the way I have worked and played with some incredibly inspiring people who have welcomed me into their lives and their homes as a friend not a stranger. I feel privileged to have had these opportunities and hope that I can be part of the eye-opening, mind-broadening travel experiences of other like-minded individuals.

PHILOSOPHY

Eschew the conventional. Do things that scare you. Eat healthy. Recycle.
