About Me
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Hello! I am Nadia, I was born in Russia, but for the last 10 years I´ve been living in Spain.
Now I live in Catalonia, on the Costa Brava, one of the most beautiful regions in the world from my point of view :)
I consider myself being a citizen of the world.
I adore nature, one of my favourite things to do is collecting mushrooms in The Pyrenees Mountains.
At the same time, I adore the sea, that´s why I'm living just in front of the little beach of Roses Bay, in a little fisherman village L'Escala.
One day when I was 18 I woke up and told myself: "Ok, it´s time to change it all". So I decided to leave Russia and go to Spain to make my University Studies. First year was wonderful and..terrible: I did´t know any word in Spanish when I arrive, so I literally closed myself up in my room and crammed as a crazy person in order to pass the exams. A hard year, but I resisted, learned Spanish and passed all the exams succesfully! In 2010 I entered Salamanca University, my alma mater, my heaven, my soul, my big challenge. Since then, I live in this beautiful country which I adore to infinity and beyond.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don´t have experience in couchsurfing, but I would very much like to start.
I am planning a roadtrip in northern Italy with my younger brother and we would like to meet local people and share good time together :)
